I have four days until my vacation, counting today (and it's now 1 pm), a fantastic load of things I need to do before that and no less than seven lengthy meetings in the same four days. Plus two doctor's appointments. And now I can't open my office window properly because there's some scaffolding in the way, the awning is permanently up for the same reason and summer has finally hit Norway, all these things adding up to making my office a baking oven.

Taking five minutes to blog about it helped a lot for the irritation and frustration, though.

You need a holiday.

If it's any consolation, the early summer that we were having in Ireland has left and the bank holiday weekend has been wet and overcast.

Focus on the holiday, not the little bumps in the road on the way there. They will pass and you will soon be free of the baking oven.

I have several Percy Wells icons, and even downloaded a PW mood theme a while ago which I really must get around to set up. I like his drawings. I especially like that he made some of them into icons himself.

They are just trying to get into your company and are using all means at their disposal.

Weather here has gone insane again. After a relatively bad period featuring a lot of rain, it's now insanely hot again... Don't really know how to deal with it. Oh well, at least maybe it means that it won't rain when I'm at the Download festival this weekend?

Just checked the Download forecast and it's looking sunny (25C, which is a bit much) with the exception of the last night when they're expecting 5 mils of rain.
