And exactly how am I supposed to attend a festival whilst being this ridiculously ill?

Granted, I don't have to hit the loo every ten minutes anymore, and I haven't been feverish since Sunday, and the absolutely consuming pain is gone, but my energy level hasn't been this low since the infamous Three Week Flu episode in 1994.

I'll just sit around near selected stages, trying to catch at least some of the bands I wanted to see. Thank all possible gods that Thursday will be easy, I'll leave the park after seeing Dinosaur Jr. I will certainly not stick around to see bloody Turbonegro, unless I'm extremely well paid to do so. Rubbish.

But there will be no seeing Flying Edward at Parkteatret for me tonight, I'm afraid. I might manage to hobble two blocks to Verkstedet and see The Vineyards. Maybe.

And I absofuckinglutely have to see that Alexander Hacke film at Øyakino.

Alea iacta est, which means that I can no longer sell my Øya ticket. It's been swapped for the wristband, which for bloody once is in a nice unobtusive colour. I hate sporting a bright orange or pink or some equally disgusting coloured wristband for days, and this year it's grey. Lovely. It does, however, feature a VG sponsor logo, and I'm sorely tempted to ink over that. For non-Norwegians - VG is a truly horrid tabloid.

Rolf hasn't shaved since Friday, and has now solemnly vowed not to shave until his faeces have solidified again. Please kill me.

A Bif Naked collection has arrived in the mail, but due to Abba overload in Romania I'm in no mood to listen to music at all, so I'm saving my ears for tomorrow. Or tonight, if we can manage to get our ill arses out of the house.

Must remember to wash faithful E.A.R. earplugs. No single use shite plugs for this girl, I got proper ones several years ago.

I have a tan. Or at least as much of a tan as I'm ever likely to get.

Got tickets for Crossing the Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul on Sunday. Greatly looking forward to it, Alex Hacke is one of my favourite musicians and I can't wait to see what he can make of exploring music in Istanbul.

Will at some point get around to making entries about the holiday. Complete with pictures.

Mankind's punishment for eating the forbidden fruit was not to be thrown out of Eden. It was to become aware of our nakedness, hence covering up with fig leaves and later moving on to clothing, thereby getting saddled with laundry.
