They should.

Behold the set list of Martin fucking Degville, formerly of Sigue Sigue Sputnik, who now tours as Sputnik 2, doing SSS songs. It just so happens that he played in Oslo this fine night, and I was there.

Yeah, I've been a SSS fan for 22 years, and this was my first chance to see either Sputnik version live.

Amusingly, it was announced (very quietly) as Sigue Sigue Sputnik, which it was not. Get your bands straight, Club Maiden. Right until I spotted Degville in front of the stage before the gig, I had no idea if I was going to see Degville or Tony James' SSS. Ah well.

It was absolutely splendid fun. Degville had fun, too, and played for quite a bit longer than he was supposed to, including an improvised version of Atari Baby and another round of 21st Century Boy.

You have to wonder when was the last time Degville had a truly enthusiastic audience, complete with groupies and moshing sing-alongers. He actually seemed touched near the end, and invited everybody up on the stage.
